Healthy chia seed pudding- 4 flavors
I think it’s safe to say that I may not be the only one who feels that it’s quite hard to find healthy low-calorie snacks for weight loss that taste as amazing as they look. For this reason, when I come across some of the few tastiest healthy snacks like this chia seed pudding, I look for recipes or ways that I can make them.
I have been consistent with making my own chia seed pudding ever since I discovered that chia seeds are loaded with health benefits. One of the health benefits of chia seeds is that they are very rich in antioxidants, that help to prevent or delay cell damage in the body. Research also shows that the soluble fiber found in chia seeds may not only slow down digestion but also help to lower cholesterol.
Is chia pudding good for weight loss?
As it happens, chia seed pudding will help you on your weight loss journey by suppressing your appetite. Chia seeds are high in protein, but low in carbs (almost zero), and will help you manage your appetite by keeping you feeling full longer.
You can also drink chia seed water every day by adding chia seeds, mint, and lemon to your water. You must check out this popular chia seed water recipe to get started.
How much chia seeds should you eat a day?
Given the many benefits of chia seeds, you might be asking just how many chia seeds should you eat a day to reap the maximum health benefits?
The short answer is, as long as you don’t eat chia seeds dry, you can add them to your food as often as you with. The long answer is that too much of a good thing is a bad thing. You should ideally stick to two servings of chia seeds a day- one serving of chia seeds is equal to 1 tablespoon.
