  4. Do I have to boil the chia seeds before adding it to the water or do I have to put the dry seeds only. Should I squeeze the lime in the water or just cut slices and put ?

    • Hi Melissa, no, you don’t have to boil the chia or squeeze the lemon juice. Just slice the lemon and follow the steps and you will be good to go!

    • Yep, you can but would avoid drinking too much alcohol because it causes dehydration and that will just take you a few steps back.

    • Hi Sheen, usually lemon water tastes bitter after about 4 hours but when you add either mint or lemon, the bitterness is non-existent. Try this recipe and let me know if it tastes bitter after infusing because I have never had this problem with the recipe.

  6. Hi Sue,
I’ve made Chia Lemon detox prior, didn’t notice a weight loss, not your recipe. I was listening to a Doctor who stated the seeds should be ground first before you receive the fiber. I use the Chia seeds in my Protein drink for the last 3 years with out grinding, letting the seeds soften about an hour. Do you agree that the seeds should be grinded 1st?. I just want to make sure that I’m doing everything correctly.
    Thank you in Advance,

I’m bit cofused, whether to drink this detox water directly when removed from fridge…or we have to wait till it gets normal in temperature…
    Need a reply plzz

    • I guess it depends on whether you enjoy really cold or room temperature drinks. In summer, you could drink it straight out of the fridge while in winter you may want to wait until it’s at room temperature.
